Illinois Solar Advocates: Action Needed

HB1734 is scheduled to be heard in the House Public Utilities Committee TODAY. Although this is an Ameren service territory issue in the immediate, please add your OPPOSITION no matter where you are located.

The solar industry will be testifying in opposition to this legislation, as this bill:

  • Strips down the Adjustable Block Program

  • Is primarily focused on utility-scale solar development

  • Authorizes the utility to construct, own, control, install all solar - utility scale, community solar and rooftop
